Happy Tuesday my fabulous ones. Found this picture online of Keyshia Cole and I fell inlove with the whole ensemble. I know summer is almost over but this is a great transformation from summer to the fall especially because of the jacket.Here sheis at the altanta hawks playoff game:




While browsing the internet as always and "browse shopping" (equivalent to window shopping lol) on one of my favorite websites, topshop.com. I was so delighted to find her jacket and dress. They are very cost effective, given I was thinking it would cost a fortune to try to get the exact same look. Thats why it doesnt really make a difference if you break the bank or shop smart because its all about how it works with your body and how you present yourself. Check this out:

What I am wearing

Hello my fabulous ones,
I know I promised I wont be MIA. Well to be specific, i did mention i wont be silent for months like i did before LOL. I really had a lot on my plate especially with the move to our home. Ms lady is growing so big as well. talking reponding to everything you say. copying everything you do. Even when my husband and I are having a disagreement (lol dont all couples do), we try to smile while getting at each other. its so funny because she watches everything and mimicks everything. Did I mention she also has an attitude problem. Yes. I feel like Im an intruder sometimes at home. Or better yet I feel like Im her dad's second wife and she is the first.



OH and her favorite thing is talking on the phone. She acts like an adult . Walking up and down ,or try multitasking while talking on the phone. she got that from me lol. the funniest was when she had the phone between her sholder and the side of her head while clipping her toe nails. LOL.

Enough about the baby. This look didnt cost me much at all. This was the best thing that ever happened to me. Check it out for yourself.

I didnt spend that much on my outfit which is a plus for me especially on the added expenses we have been experiencing lately. I was a little skeptical about wearing this dress because its a little bit on the short side lol but that was because I was caring more about what others would think rather than do what makes me happy. I loved it so i wore it. Actually I got a few compliments from it which is always good. lol

Good morning my fabulous ones. I had an interesting day yesterday and this morning. All I can say is to God be the Glory. Things are finally looking up again. My life has a sense of direction once more.

My husband and I got a new house and will be moving by the end of this month so you know who is gonna be decorating right??? lol. I have been online (especially IKEA) looking for deals and home decors. I think I'm getting obsessed with the whole idea...lol. Nonetheless I got some great finds/deals.

Favorite Celebrity looks

Guess who's back....back again!!!!!!!!!! I missed being in the blog world so much. Well what had happened was.....LMAO......I don't think I got enough time and patience to tell y'all about what has been going on the past 6 months. Wow its been six months already lol. Any hoo...Im back on my grind(whatever that means).lol

Baby girl is 15 months old now. My hubby and I didn't throw a birthday party yet but we will be doing so next month. She will be getting baptized as well so its gonna be a big celebration. Besides she finally started walking 3 days ago. Can you believe it lol. I guess she wanted to do it at her own time. Well my parents and family said I didnt start walking until I was 18months old. Well I had an excuse, I was a bit on the chubby side....lol.

So I was moving around this barbie ball her daddy got her with her barbie golf clubs(don't ask lol)and she got really excited.This little girl stood up because she wanted to hit the ball around aswell and just started walking. I didnt start screeaming or anything (out of excitement of course). I just kept staring at her like its something she has been doing forever but inside of me I was going crazy with excitement. It was funny how she did it though. She would stretch both arms forward as if trying to hold her balance and then move slowly but diligently.Testing the floors to see if it can hold her weight. I laughed so hard afterwards. What can her little 25 pound body do to the floor. It was so cool. Of course I have it on tape. I will post it the day i Learn how to put up videos on this blog LMAO.

How I spice up my love life

Hello fabulous one,
So I will be getting a little bit personal today,lol. Maybe not a little bit. Oh well you be the judge. I have decided to change Friday's posts from reader's request to talk about my personal views on life and women empowerment.

By no means are my ways of keeping my love life fun a substitute for how to keep a man or how to keep a woman. If a man or woman decides to seek "distraction(s)" from outside a union be it a relationship or marriage, it is a personal decision.'

You can meet your partner at the door butt naked everyday they come back from anywhere and give him or her the best sex of their lives and what not,that doesn't guarantee that they will not seek to go out of that relationship. I must admit women believe keeping their man sexually satisfied is all that needs to be done to keep the man interested and to stay faithful. It might work for some but might not work for a majority of people.

I have been with my husband for 5 years and I must say there are a few things I have grown to learn about myself. That's why it is good to marry or be in a relationship with your best friend. Someone who lets you open up in every aspect of your life without you feeling weird about it.

I must admit being married and having a baby has given me more self confidence, not saying I didn't have before. Its just that I realise there are more important things to worry about than the little things i use to stress about when single and no baby. My life has completely change.

Keeping my family in tact and together is my priority. Keeping my husband interested and happy required me to make a few changes from the way i was before we met. I think he rubs off on me daily because it feels like we are still dating. Believe me we do have our downs. I mean it can be so terrible that we don't talk for days, only when it involves the baby.

My hubby tries his best to keep the love alive not necessarily by buying the world but by little gestures.From time to time he has flowers delivered to the house saying its from my secret admirer. A box of chocolate, teddy bears, and what not. Sometimes I could really want this clothing online and I think I'm talking to my self. I would here a knock on the door a few days later from the UPS guy saying they had a delivery. To be honest I took advantage of that and made sure he heard me every time I say it will be nice to have this or that lol. I know he knows I'm taking advantage of the situation but he is not complaining and sure isn't stopping. lol. I also love the unexpected full body massage, or the foot rub that I'm entitled to 3 times a week.He tells me how beautiful i am even if I'm not feeling so great that day or dressed properly. I love how he leaves love notes on post its by the bed room door (where you cant miss it), or the living room door when I'm about to step out, or on the night stand. My personal favorite is when, he turns off my phone before he leaves for work knowing I am really tired. Then when I finally wake up and turn on my phone I receive my first love text message from him.

He would call me from work at times and tell me to get ready and dress a certain way cause he is taking me somewhere. I must say those date nights are a necessity in every relationship especially if there is a baby involved. My favorite night was the night we got engaged. We were still doing the long distance relationship thing. So on one of our meetings (which was on valentines day 2005), I was surprised to see he bought me a beautiful pink dress with matching shoes and some very beautiful jewelry to go with the ensemble. He had this fake address to some destination i clearly never heard of. To my surprise I saw this big cruise in front of us. My first inclination was that we were lost. To my greatest dismay I heard him say get out of the car. i thought it was a joke...lol. We walked to the cruise and he gave our names and the guy checked us in. Still in shock, i slowly walked behind and didn't even realise there was more in store for me. I just thought it was just a surprise for valentines day and we head home and finish the night off (if you know what I'm saying lol). Food was served, we were having a great laugh and a good time. My hubby kept telling me all these sweet things a woman wants to hear and was really sincere and I couldn't stop smiling.Then suddenly the waitress made a statement(I truly don't remember) and all the lights were dim and apparently everyone in the cruise knew what was going on but me. All of a sudden i see him go down on one knee. i know he said alot of things but trust me i didn't hear a thing...lol. i was in so much awe and full of joy and happiness, the ring, everything, just got me crying like a baby. lol. i do remember saying yes maybe a hundred times but nothing before that.lol. it was beautiful. Well enough of that...lol.

i cant begin to list out all the things he does to remind me that I'm his girl and forever will be his girl. But i came up with a few things to spice it up myself and i must say he is loving that side of Marion lol. Yea i have done the whole meet him at the door naked with nothing but stilettos on when he gets back from work. Role playing, sending lusting notes and what not. But sometimes too much of a thing gets boring.

little things like giving him unexpected back rubs,wearing sexy lingerie, clipping his toe nails (which he loves clipping mine but that's another story...lol), just saying you love him at any giving occasions. i make sure he is well fed. believe me that saying is true. the way to a man's heart is definitely through his stomach. out of no where i would just grab him and kiss him passionately for a good 30 minutes. yup 30 minutes. Reminding him he is the man of the house. For some reason men really dig that. Feeling like they are in control. And most of all great sex. yup, when you have self confidence and feel good about your self and love your partner, the sex is always great.

i did talk about my sex life after the baby a while ago and i mentioned that we have had to find creative ways to get in touch with that part of our relationship. i must say it makes it more interesting. the bedroom all the time gets boring if done EVERYDAY. Being sneaky because of the baby makes it so much more fun and i actually look forward to it everyday. Well from time to time the "quickie" is what we both need but when we do get past the quickie stage its full blown. Because I'm open and comfortable with him, i turn to try new things, which i will DEFINITELY NOT be discussing here.LMAO.

Alright enough of that. like you haven't had enough already...lol. i can go on and on about it but we don't have all day. So to get straight to the points once again
1) Remind him you love him EVERYDAY by at least saying 'I LOVE YOU"
2)Make sure he always has something to eat
3)send him love notes every now and then
4)Make sure he feels like the man of the house. I'm not saying, you should say yes to everything he tells you or be his slave. You know when to draw the line
5)SEX SEX SEX. i don't know how else to elaborate on that lol. But be creative too. spices things up

These are not in any particular order and I'm not saying you must follow this rules. These are some of the things I do and would like to share with you. Again this is not a remedy to keep your man from straying, cheating or seeking a distraction outside your relationship. It is a personal choice to go outside of a relationship because as human beings we all have what we call a conscience.And by all means these acts do not prevent disagreements in my marriage.
